Everyone on Team Nerdist loves music festivals and Comic Cons, but what if we could enjoy both on the same weekend? That’s not a hypothetical question, because Nerdist founder Chris Hardwick has found a way to make it happen! Chris has created the first ever ID10T Music Festival + Comic Conival, and it’s happening next month in Silicon Valley.

As the name implies, the ID10T Music Festival + Comic Conival will bring together musical performances from some of the most popular artists in the industry as well as comic book writers and artists, television performers, and a fantastic lineup of comedians. Chris is hosting the event at the Shoreline Amphitheatre and the surrounding grounds in Mountain View, CA on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25th.

To kickoff our ID10T coverage, we’ve also got the first word on the TV panels featured at the event, including a Portlandia panel moderated by Chris himself.

Not enough for you? Well, ID10T also has panels for Stan Against Evil, Harmontown, and a little cult series hosted by our old friend, Jonah Ray. You may have heard of it: Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return.

That’s just the beginning. ID10T has also lined up musical performances by Weezer, Girl Talk, Lord Huron, Crystal Castles, TV On The Radio, OK Go, Animal Collective, Car Seat Headrest, The Mowgli’s, Robert DeLong, Mothers, Ron Gallo, and Tank And The Bangas.

April Richardson is also hosting an amazing group of comedians, including Demetri Martin, Michael Che, Nikki Glaser, Garfunkel and Oates, Michael Ian Black, Brian Posehn, Greg Proops, Brent Weinbach, Hampton Yount, Matt Braunger, Dan Mintz, Marcella Arguello, Jonah Ray, Mike Phirman, and Yassir Lester.

Additionally, many superstar comic book artists and writers are lined up to attend, including Becky Cloonan, Cameron Stewart, Dennis Hopeless, Gerry Duggan, Mike Costa, Phil Hester, Phil Noto, Rick Remender, Van Jensen, and Wes Craig.

You can find more artwork and panel information in our gallery below. Further panel announcements will be made soon. Tickets are on sale now at Id10tfest.com.
